Triad slang term meaning "camaraderie" (or "sense of righteousness") widely used in Hong Kong. Methods for coding communications within the underworld includes substitution of words for numbers so that the numbers one through nine (and/or homonyms) are replaced respectively by 之(meaning “it”), 雷(thunder), 汪(water), 扇(fan), 乍(first), 龍(dragon), 吉(luck), 絲(silk) and 色(colour). Because "2" in Cantonese and “justice" are homonyms, the otherwise untranslatable and meaningless Chinese expression corresponds to “camaraderie".

Although under the laws of Hong Kong, Chapter 151, "Societies Ordinance" where anyone involved in or claiming to be triad society (i.e. organised crime) members commit a criminal offence, some of the language emanating from underworld culture has passed into ordinary vernacular. As examples, a charcoal-roasted suckling pig is often referred to as a "Golden Pig", since "gold" is code for "fire"; four words that literally mean oath-taking and burying ambitions (誓神劈願), is code for initiation rituals, when the new triad members behead chickens and burn offerings.

During the occupation of Mong Kok, some truck drivers parked their vehicles in the middle of the road to protect the occupied roadway, and they even proactively donated supplies, beverages, etc., thus rough truck drivers were seen in a new light, and they were praised for their “camaraderie” using this code.
